Severe Headaches - Another incredible story: "Our 10 yr old daughter Megyn has been battling headaches for the last 3 years and was also having vision problems. There was one stretch of 4-5 months where she had a headache everyday, all day. A good week she would only suffer 5 of 7 days and has missed many days of school, playing with friends, and not able to participate in extra curricular activities. We kept track of foods, activities and there was no rhyme or reason to any of it. She was seen by many specialists, had MRI's, CT scans and lumbar puncture and we prepared for the worst but everything can back fine. But we knew she wasn't fine, still had headaches even with daily headache medication and as you can imagine it was changing her and not for the better. Our happy go lucky girl, with the free spirit, big heart that found the good in everyone, wasn't so much anymore and understandably, she has felt this way for a third of her life. 4 weeks ago we introduced Max into her day. In the last four weeks she has only had 2 bad headaches and 2 minor ones. Bad ones only lasted 3-5 hours and the minor ones were gone within a hour or so. Our little girl is back, joking, dancing, playing and just being 10 again. In fact she feels so good she doesn't know what to do with herself. Under doctors direction, she is also off of her headache medication all together.
